Membership

Civil Engineers, Architects, geophysicists or geologists who can demonstrate professional or academic record of more than three years on earthquake-related projects or problems can become ordinary members.

Legal entities under private law may be admitted as members if the legal person has demonstrably more than three years of experience with earthquake-related projects or problems. The administration of the legal person appoints his representative by legally signed proxy.

Legal entities governed by public law may be admitted as members if the legal person has demonstrably more than three years of experience with earthquake-related projects or problems. The administration of the legal person appoints his representative by legally signed proxy.

Student members can be admitted if they are registered in the Central Register of Higher Education, and training in the field of civil engineering, architecture, geophysics or geology. The admission applies for every year of studentship, not longer.

Members benefit from discounted prices of registration to national events, information and newsletter on the recent earthquake-related developments in the region and also in the world, as well as access to international institutions and organisations in earthquake engineering via DEEA.
